Summary of Abuse Allegations against Brother Adrian Furman:

Br. Adrian Furman was a member of the Franciscan Friars. According to media reports, he was accused of sexually abusing children from 1959 to 1965. The incidents were reported in 2002 and 2010.

In May 2019, his name appeared on the St. Barbara Province’s list of credibly accused Franciscan Friars. His name was also included on the Diocese of Oakland list. The details of the allegations, including the information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Furman’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

Furman died in 2003.
