Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Br. Rene Dorsey:

Br. Rene Dorsey served in the Diocese of Lafayette. According to media reports, in a 1995 lawsuit he and Fr. Gregory Mosca were accused of molesting an altar boy. The multiple incidents of alleged abuse occurred in the late 1970’s when the victim was between 10-15 years old. The Diocese of Lafayette sent the victim to Minnesota for treatment of post traumatic stress disorder and other psychological services. The cost of the treatment was $49,500.

The whereabouts of Br. Rene Dorsey are unknown.
