Summary of Allegations Against Deacon Michael Conroy:

Deacon Michael Conroy was suspended from ministry by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in mid-2001 for what the Archdiocese of Philadelphia would later call “known sexual misconduct involving a minor.”  Absolutely no details were or have been offered by the Archdiocese as to the details of the allegation, such as the age/gender of the victim(s), or whether this was the first time Conroy had been accused of misconduct during his tenure.  

Conroy was laicized (removed from the clerical state) by the Vatican in 2007.  

Conroy is now approximately 68 years old.  He is believed to be residing in the Royersford, Pennsylvania, area.
