Summary of Allegations Against Father Casimir Lewandowski:
According to the 2018 Grand Jury Report, Father Lewandowski was accused of abusing a minor girl. A 64-year-old woman called the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2016 and reported that when she was in sixth grade and approximately 12 years old, Father Lewandowski sexually abused her during his assignment at Madonna of Czestochowa.
She remembered few details about the abuse, but talked about having Father Casimir Lewandowski’s semen on her dress and him saying to her, “You are a dirty little girl, aren’t you?” The Diocese of Pittsburgh sent her money to cover the therapy she had gone through following the incident.
Lewandowski died in 1978.
