Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Donal O’Connor:

Father Donal O’Connor is a native of Ireland. He was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1950. He was ordained in 1955, and served in the Diocese of Orange. According to media reports, three people have accused Father O’Connor of sexual abuse between approximately 1959 and 1980. Father O’Connor was placed on administrative leave and then retired without faculties in 2002.

He has been named in at least one civil suit. His personnel file was released in January 2013. It is believed he died in 2017.

Father O’Connor was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2004 list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors.
