Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father James Kuntz:

Father James Kuntz was ordained a Jesuit priest of the New York Province in 1977, and served in the Archdiocese of Newark. He spent his career as an educator in New York, New Jersey and California. He was vice president for mission and ministry at St. Peter’s College and principal of St. Peter’s Prep. In the mid 1990s, he was in Abuja, Nairobi where he was the founding principal of a boarding school for children, grades 7-12.

According to media reports, in February 2008, he was found to have child pornography on his computer. He pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography later that year in September. In February 2009, he was sentenced to forty months in prison and 5 years supervised release. He left the Jesuits in 2012. His current whereabouts are unknown.
