Father Linus Kopczewski was ordained a priest of the Franciscan order in 1965. According to media reports, in November 2018, his name was included in the Diocese of Buffalo’s updated list of priests with substantiated claims of sexual abuse of a minor. The Diocese added 36 additional names including 20 diocesan priests and 16 religious order priests, who have at least two substantiated complaints against them. The original list was published in March 2018.
