Summary of Allegations Against Father Paul Coyle:
Paul R. Coyle was ordained in 1937 and was assigned to multiple parishes in the Pittsburgh area. Information concerning his history is limited, and all known assignments are listed above. He served as secretary of the Pittsburgh Diocesan Tribunal. According to a Catholic media report from the 1970s, he was also part of the Diocesan Board of Consultors. Allegations against Father Coyle of the Diocese of Pittsburgh were only filed after his death and he was not included in the Grand Jury report. There are currently no details available concerning the nature of his abuse. The Diocese of Pittsburgh began reporting post-mortem accusations in 2002.
Coyle died in 1991.
