Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Thomas A. Rittenhouse:

The Diocese of Trenton listed Father Thomas A. Rittenhouse on a roster of priests credibly accused of child sexual abuse published in February 2019.  The Diocese of Trenton indicated that Rittenhouse was the subject of one credible allegation, but did not provide any additional details, such as the age/gender of the victim or Rittenhouse’s assignment at the time of the abuse.

Rittenhouse passed away in 2006 in good standing as a priest. According to Diocese files, Rittenhouse once reported a priest, Father Paul Hurley for inappropriate conduct with teenage boys in the early 1990s.
