Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father William Titmas:

In the 1994 RICO lawsuit again the Diocese of Camden, a victim alleged that Father William Titmas abused and assaulted him for years beginning when the victim was 12 or 13 years old.

The victim claims that Titmas and two other priests, John P. Kelly and John P. Bernard, attacked him in parish rectories at St. Gregory’s in Magnolia, St. Peter’s in Merchantville, and Our Lady Star of the Sea in Cape May. He said the abuse took place between 1972 and 1977.

The victim shared in the settlement of the lawsuit with other victims.

Titmas passed away in 2004, but his exact burial location is unknown.
