Father Yusaf Dominic was a native of Pakistan. In the US, he worked in the Diocese of Newark and in the New York City area. There have been several variations on his name, depending on where he worked, including Dominic Yusaf. According to media reports, he has been accused of sexually abusing boys in several countries. In 1996, he was convicted of molesting two young boys at a parish in the Westminster Archdiocese in the 1980s in England. He denied the charges. He was sent to a clergy treatment center in rural England run by the Servants of the Paraclete religious order. After serving time in jail, he returned to ministry. In 2004, he was found working as assistant pastor in Albissola Marina, leading a small parish for the Diocese of Savona-Noli in Italy.
