Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Martin Fleming:
In 2006, the Diocese of Venice (Florida) received a report that a woman was sexually abused by Fleming in 1940 when she was 6 years old. She came forward to make the report because she was in heart failure and did not want to die before telling her truth.
Fleming died in 1950. His status at the time is unclear as the Diocese of Scranton assignment history does not indicate any assignments after 1919, but as far as we can tell, he died a priest in good standing.
