Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father William Scanlon:

Father William Scanlon was a Jesuit priest and former teacher at McQuaid Jesuit, a school within the Diocese of Rochester.  In 1994, Scanlon admitted to abusing minors from 1985-1994. The Jesuits have “restricted” and then “impeded” Scanlon twice since 1994 the allegations surfaced.

But that didn’t stop the order from including him in its official magazine in 2010, where he was shown giving Holy Communion. Very little else is known about Scanlon’s charges or his assignments after 1994.

He is not listed in the 2018 edition of the Official Catholic Directory and his current whereabouts are unknown.
