Fr. Alexander Francisco’s Career and Whereabouts

Ordained in 1979, Fr. Alexander Francisco began his ministry in Louisiana after immigrating from the Philippines in 1991, sources say. Throughout his ministry in the 1990s, Fr. Francisco served as a pastor for churches primarily in the Houma area.

During the 1990s, Fr. Francisco also served as chaplain at Thibodaux General Hospital and Catholic Student Center. He also had involvement with Nicholls State University in 1996, a report reads.

Shortly after the abuse, Fr. Francisco was initially treated and cleared to return to ministry. However, he was later suspended in 2002 after the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux implemented new church rules.

According to sources, Fr. Francisco said he wanted to leave the ministry after his 2002 removal. In 2019, the diocese stated it “permanently removed” all of his priestly faculties. Fr. Francisco’s whereabouts are unknown.
