Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Alexander Pinter:

Fr. Alexander Pinter was accused of sexually abusing multiple boys while working in the Diocese of Toledo from 1956-1960. According to media reports, he was then sent to Canada for treatment and later assigned there. He transferred to the Diocese of Oakland in the 1960s, and then New Orleans in the 1970s.

In 2020, Pinter was accused of sexually abusing an altar boy at St. Francis in Vista, California, in 1964. He was named on the Diocese of Oakland 2019 list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor and on the Diocese of Toledo 2020 list.

Pinter died in New Orleans in 1978.
