Father Andrew Dittrich was ordained a Jesuit priest. According to media reports,  in 2002 and 2018, Father Dittrich was accused of sexually abusing minors between 1966 and 1976. The allegations were found to be credible after an investigation. He died in 1990. 

In March 2019, his name was included on the Jesuit list of “USA Northeast Province Jesuits with Credible Allegations of Sexual Abuse of a Minor.” Details of the allegations, including when and where the abuse occurred, are unknown.
