In 2020, according to media reports, Fr. Andrew Florez was accused of sexual abuse of minors that has been found to be credible and substantiated by the Archdiocesan of New York. He was named credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor and is listed on the Archdiocese of New York’s 2019 List of Archdiocesan Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor or the Subject of Eligible IRCP Compensation Claims.
