Father Arthur (Arturo) Fernando was ordained a priest who served in the Diocese of Orange. According to media reports, was accused of sexually abusing a child from 1973 to 1975 at St. Pius V Church in Buena Park, California. He denied the allegation. He was named in at least one civil lawsuit. He was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. It is believed he died in 1983 in Sri Lanka.
