Fr. Arthur Anderson was ordained in 1962 offering his first Mass in the Church Of The Assumption Of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Hackettstown, NJ. He retired in 2003, and assisted the neighboring parishes of Church Of The Assumption, Hackettstown and STS. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Great Meadows, NJ.

Fr. Anderson is listed on the Diocese of Rockville Centre‘s 2021 List of Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor. According to the list, the alleged sexual abuse occurred while he worked at St. Pius X Preparatory in Uniondale, NY, sometime between 1963-1982. The details of the sexual abuse allegations, including where the alleged abuse occurred, or the victim’s age/gender, are unknown.

Fr. Anderson died in October 2011 at the age of 78.
