Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Arthur Terminiello:

Fr. Arthur Terminiello was arrested in 1946 for giving an anti-Semitic speech that broke into riots. In 1949, the Supreme Court overturned on First Amendment grounds a disorderly conduct conviction against a suspended Catholic priest for making inflammatory public comments. He resumed his duties at St. Stephen in Pensacola.

Fr. Terminiello is named on the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee 2020 list of priests that have been credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor or minors. The details of the sexual abuse allegations, including when and where the alleged abuse occurred, or the victim’s age/gender, are unknown. Fr. Terminiello died in 1962.
