Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Bernard Turner:

Fr. Bernard Turner was newly identified in a child sexual abuse civil lawsuit filed against the Albany Catholic Diocese under the state’s Child Victims Act. Turner was accused of sexually abusing a minor from 1981 to 1982 while serving at St. Patrick in Ravena, NY. No further information on the allegation regarding the age/gender of the victim was given.

Turner was also involved in another claim back in 2007. A trial ended in a mistrial after the judge ruled that a church lawyer had violated a pre-trial order prohibiting questions about an alleged homosexual relationship between Turner and another priest.
