Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Bronislaus Kopec:

Fr. Bronislaus Kopec was ordained a priest for Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 1929 and incardinated into the Diocese of Allentown when it was created in 1961. According to media reports, in 2018, his name was included on its list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. The allegation involving Fr. Kopec was reported sometime after his death in June 1968, but no additional details have been provided. all priests named on this list were provided to the Grand Jury, although Fr. Kopec was not discussed in the 2018 PA grand jury report. This list was compiled by the Diocese based upon a review of diocesan les and the Report of the 40 Statewide Investigating Grand Jury.
