Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Donald Pearce:

Father Donald Pearce, a Jesuit priest, served as a Spanish teacher, prefect of discipline, and president from 1960-1968. He “retired” from ministry in 2003, due to poor health. According to media reports, in November 2018, Father Donald Pearce’s name appeared publicly on the Archdiocese of New Orleans’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted an allegation of abuse in the 1960s was received in 2003. No information regarding the allegation including age/gender of the victims was disclosed. His name also appeared on the Jesuits’ Central and Southern Province’s list in December 2018. He died in 2016. It noted multiple allegations.
