A visiting priest from Mexico, Fr. Esteban Trujillo reportedly worked in the Diocese of San Bernardino from 2001 to 2002. According to the Diocese of San Bernardino, Trujillo was accused of abusing a child in 1998 and 2001 in Mexico.

Trujillo is believed to have served at St. George in Fontana, California, and St. Charles Borromeo in Bloomington, California from 2001 to 2002. Trujillo was included in the Diocese of San Bernardino’s list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. According to media reports, as of 2003, Trujillo was believed to be residing in Mexico. According to the Diocese of San Bernardino, Trujillo has been permanently banned from ministry in the Diocese.
