Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Francis Simon:

Father Francis Simon was ordained a priest of the Benedictine order in 1943, who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, he was accused of child sexual abuse from 1963 to 1967, while he worked at St. Benedict’s in Montebello, California. In April 2002, the survivor wrote a letter to Cardinal Roger Mahony detailing the alleged abuse by Father Simon and Father Mathias Faue while he was an altar boy at St. Benedict’s. The letter, kept in Father Faue’s personnel file, was released to the public in July 2013.

Prior to Father Simon’s death, in 1995, it is believed he lived in Oklahoma.
