Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Gabriel Menager:

Fr. Gabriel L. Menager was a Jesuit priest of the Oregon Province. Much of his career seems to have been spent in remote Indian villages in Alaska and Montana, followed by more than a decade at Loyola University and Loyola High School in Los Angeles, California. He worked in San Francisco and then lived at the Jesuit Novitiate in Los Gatos, CA, from 1963 until his death.

Menager’s name was publicly listed in 2011 on the Oregon Province’s list of its members who have been identified as perpetrators of sexual abuse. The details of the sexual abuse allegations, including when and where the alleged abuse occurred, or the victim’s age/gender, are unknown. Menager is also listed on the Jesuits West 2018 list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor.

Menager died in 1966
