Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Gennaro Simonetti:

According to media reports, Fr. Gennaro Simonetti was accused of sexually abusing a minor boy at an after-school program at Our Lady of Miracles School in the late 1970s. In February 2019, his name appeared publicly on the Diocese of Brooklyn’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Simonetti’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

Simonetti retired in 1984 and died in 1998.
