Summary of Abuse Allegations against Fr. George Beaudet:

Fr. George Beaudet was ordained a priest in 1975, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Portland. According to media reports, in 2007, Bishop Richard Malone of the Diocese of Portland announced that Fr. Beaudet had been removed from ministry due to allegations of sexual abuse. The first allegation of sexual abuse in 1979 against Fr. Beaudet was received in 2000. He was placed on leave.

Additional allegations of sexual abuse in 1980 were received in 2002. The diocese did not release any information about the locations of the alleged abuse or the age/gender of the victims who came forward. After he was laicized in 2008, Beaudet moved to Bonita Springs, FL.

Fr. George Beaudet died in 2020 in Bonita Springs, FL.
