Fr. Hector Gonzalez-Abreu was ordained in 1979. In 2003, Gonzalez-Abreu was accused in a civil suit filed of abusing a teenage boy after he reported to Gonzalez-Abreau that he had been abused by Fr. Alvaro Guichard. The accusations involved giving the boy a beer, showing him pornography, and sexually abusing him in 1980. Gonzalez-Abreu was placed on leave in 2003 but was later cleared by the Archdiocese.
