Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Henry J McCloud:
According to media reports, in October 2003, Fr. Henry J McCloud was one of 24 priests named in a lawsuit filed by 27 victims, which alleged child sexual abuse. One man said McCloud abused him as a boy at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Brooklyn, New York in 1964.
In February 2019, his name appeared publicly on the Diocese of Brooklyn’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors.
McCloud died in October 1979.
