Fr. James Flannan Walsh is originally from Ireland and was ordained in 1965. Walsh arrived in the Diocese of St. Augustine a few months after his ordination.

In 2020, Walsh was included on a list of priests in the Diocese of St. Augustine who was named as being “credibly accused” of child sex abuse. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Walsh’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown. It is only noted that the abuse took place from 1965-1966.

Walsh died in Florida in 2013.
