Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Kenneth J Cabral:

Fr. Kenneth J Cabral was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of San Francisco in 1950 and became a priest of the Diocese of Oakland when it was established in 1962. According to media reports, he was accused of child sexual abuse at St. Catherine of Siena in Martinez, California from 1964 to 1965.

Cabral was removed from ministry in June 1991. The Diocese of Oakland Bishop Allen Vigneron publicly apologized to the St. Catherine parish in Martinez for Cabral’s sexual misconduct in 2004. His name is listed as a retired priest in the Official Catholic Directories for the years 1991 to 2000.

In 2019, his name appeared on the Diocese of Oaklands’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors.
