Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Luke Rutter:

A lawsuit has just been recently filed against Father Luke Rutter, with abuse stemming back from the 1980’s. A male student who used to attend St. Francis High School came forward with the suit in August of 2019, under the Child Victims Act. Father Rutter was a Francisian order priest who taught at the prep school for many years, and died in 2000. The Diocese of Buffalo has yet to include Rutter’s name on any list of accused clergy.
