Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Malachy Conway:

While his tenure was relatively short, Fr. Malachy Conway certainly made an impact. Originally from Ireland, Conway was ordained for the Sacramento Diocese in 1995 and accused several years later in 1997 of nudity in the presence of minors and sexual touching. These incidents were reported to the diocese immediately and were found to be credible.

Conway had his faculties withdrawn and was removed from ministry just two years after becoming ordained. He was named publicly as accused on the Diocese of Sacramento list in 2019.

Conway’s current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
