Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Michael McDonald: 

Fr. Michael McDonald was ordained a priest in 1958, who served in the Diocese of Fresno. According to media reports, in 2003, he was accused in a civil lawsuit of repeatedly sexually abusing a young boy from 1964-1967, when the victim attended St. Mary of the Nativity in Salinas, CA. The priest allegedly sexually abused the boy more than 100 times starting when he was 10 years old. The suit settled in 2004 for $760,000.

Michael McDonald died in November 1971. His name appeared on the Diocese of Monterey’s list of credibly accused clergy in 2019.
