Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Michael Victor Marron:

Fr. Michael Victor Marron was ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Clogher in Ireland and came to work in the United States in 1961. He is the brother of another accused abuser, Fr. Peter J. Marron. According to a 1963 letter from his personnel file, there were a number of complaints from parents that he was overly friendly with their children, particularly their daughters. He was asked to leave the Diocese of San Diego in August 1963.

In March 2007, his name was included in the Diocese of San Diego’s list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. In October 2010, as part of a settlement with survivors of clergy sexual abuse, the Diocese of San Diego released his personnel file.

He is believed to have died in 1979.
