Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Milton Walsh:

Fr. Milton Walsh was accused and charged with sexual abuse of a 12-year old boy in 1985 when serving at Our Lady of Loretto in Novato, CA. The police secretly recorded a phone conversation between Milton Walsh and the victim, in which Walsh admitted to the abuse. Ultimately, the charges were dropped due to the statute of limitations.

During discovery, it was reported that the abuse was brought to the attention of the Archdiocese of San Francisco back in 1985 when the boy told his parents what had happened. The Bishop convinced the parents not to go to the police, reassuring them that Walsh would get help, but he was still kept in active ministry until 2002.  It has been publicly reported that Milton Walsh is now living in the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.
