Summary of Allegations against Fr. Neil J. Murphy:

Murphy was not identified or discussed in the 2018 grand jury report.  He was, however, identified on the list of accused priests published by the Diocese of Harrisburg.  Unfortunately, very little information was provide about the allegation(s) against Murphy, such as the gender/age of his victims, or the assignment he held during the alleged abuse.

According to the Diocese of Harrisburg, the allegation(s) against Murphy was made after his death.

Murphy’s last assignment in the Diocese of Harrisburg was in 1968, which leads us to believe that he died around that time, but we have found no concrete proof of that yet.
