Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Patrick Finnegan:

Fr. Patrick Finnegan was ordained for the Diocese of San Francisco in 1952. In 2019, Finnegan’s name appeared on the Diocese of Oaklands’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted allegations of abuse reported in the 1960s and in 1973, though he had been removed from ministry in 1972. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Finnegan’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

Finnegan died in 1980.
