Fr. Patrick Hannon became an ordained priest in 1942 for the Benedictine Order and worked in various parishes in the Diocese of Little Rock in Arkansas, Texas, and Ohio. In 2020, Fr. Hannon was first publicly named and included on the Diocese of Little Rock’s list of credibly accused clergy for whom allegations of sexual abuse of a minor have been admitted, substantiated, or determined or considered to be credible.

In addition, Fr. Hannon was named publicly as accused by the Subiaco Abbey Benedictines list. It notes one allegation of abuse occurring in the early 1950s at St. Benedict’s in Subiaco, Arkansas. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims or the nature of the alleged sexual abuse is unknown. According to the list, he may have transferred to the Diocese of Columbus in the late 1960s.

Father Hannon died in 1994.
