Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Ramon Marrufo:

Fr. Ramon Marrufo was ordained a priest in 1976, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of San Diego. According to media reports, in June 2021, he was named in a lawsuit filed by a man alleging that Fr. Marrufo repeatedly sexually abused him over the course of several years starting in the 1970s when he was a young boy. The abuse started when he was in second grade in Rialto, California. The Diocese of San Diego along with the Diocese of San Bernardino and two San Bernardino County schools are listed as defendants in the lawsuit.

A separate allegation has allegedly been made against Marrufo in which the Diocese confirmed there was a settlement made through its Independent Compensation Program established in 2019.
