Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Ronald Farchette:

The Diocese of Ogdensburg released a list of 28 priests who were credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor or a vulnerable adult on November 13th, 2018. One priest that was first named publicly for abuse was Father Ronald J. Farchette.

The Diocese of Ogdensburg did not include the number of alleged victims or the time frame that the alleged abuse occurred. The only information the diocese released about Father Farchette was that he has been removed from ministry, but is still living. Each name on the list has been internally investigated and found to have reasonable grounds by the Diocesan Review Board.
