Summary of Abuse Allegations Against Father Salvatore Miraglia:

Father Salvatore Miraglia was ordained a priest  in 1975. According to media reports, in 1982, he left the Diocese of Rockville Centre after a complaint alleged that he asked minor teens to disrobe while he was assigned to Our Holy Redeemer in Freeport, New York. He transferred to Florida following the accusation and continued to celebrate mass at San Isidro in Pompano Beach. In March 2002, he was placed on a leave of absence. According to the 2002 Catholic Directory, he was assigned to Rockville Centre Diocese but is shown as “Priests released from Diocesan Assignment.” His current whereabouts are unknown. 

Father Miraglia is listed on the Diocese of Rockville Centre’s 2021 List of Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor.
