Father Louis Mako was born in Romania, and ordained in Europe. He served in the Diocese of Scranton from 1975 to 1977. He died in 1998. According to media reports, his name was included in the Diocese of Scranton’s list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor released in August 2018. His name was also included in the Diocese of Buffalo’s updated list of priests with substantiated claims of sexual abuse of a minor. The original list was published in March 2018.
