In 2019, Fr. Thomas Duong Binh-Minh’s name appeared on the Diocese of Oaklands’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted an incident of child sexual abuse in 1987, three years before he was ordained in 1990 when he was a deacon at St. Felicitas in San Leandro.
