Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Thomas Neary:

In 2019, Fr. Thomas Neary was included on a list of priests in the Diocese of Monterey who was named as being “credibly accused” of child sex abuse. Very little is known of Neary’s activities within the church as the Diocese of Monterey has not released any information about Neary’s assignment history nor the year he was ordained. In addition, information about the age/gender of his alleged victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Neary’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

It is only noted that there was a report received in 2013 against Fr. Thomas Neary in reference to abuse that took place in 1958.

Neary died in 1983.
