Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Thomas Wilson:

Father Thomas Wilson was ordained a priest in 1975, who served in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. According to media reports, on April 6th, 2019, he had been placed on administrative leave. following allegations of inappropriate behavior with a minor. However, the diocese did say that the allegations did not involve sexual contact.

Father Wilson admitted to the allegation, while he was actively serving at two parishes in Allegheny County. The allegation dates back to a time when Wilson was serving as a seminarian at St. Mary of the Mount Church in Pittsburgh. The diocese did not reveal what Father Wilson admitted to doing and did not provide any other details of the incident. 

Thomas Wilson may no longer engage in public ministry, dress as a priest or present himself as a priest in good standing. He has been included on the Diocese of Pittsburgh’s 2019 list of clergy against whom allegations have been made. He falls under the category of clergy who are living and have been removed from active ministry. His current whereabouts are unknown.
