Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Vincent Zollo:

According to media reports, in 2002, Fr. Vincent Zollo was named in a civil lawsuit in which 26 people alleged child sexual abuse by twelve priests and one religious brother. The lawsuit alleged that Zollo sexually abused a minor boy in the early 1980s while at Our Lady of Grace in Howard Beach, New York. He later transferred to North Carolina and was placed on leave in 1991.

In February 2019, the Diocese of Brooklyn deemed the allegation “unsubstantiated,” but allowed the claimant to participate in the Independent Reconciliation and Compensation Program (IRCP). Zollo’s name was not included in its list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors.

Zollo reportedly resigned from the priesthood. His current whereabouts are unknown.
