Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father William C Wehrle:

Fr. William C Wehrle was ordained as a Jesuit priest and finished his Jesuit Tertianship in 1952 in the Diocese of Albany. Church files revealed Wehrle was accused of child sexual abuse sometime during the 1980s. Following the allegation, he was removed from his parish, but not from active ministry.

As of recently, his name appeared on the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s 2018 list of “Priests and Brothers Accused of Child Sex Abuse.”

Wehrle died on August 25th, 1995.
