Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Mr. Charles Lyons:

Mr. Charles Lyons (“Mr. Lyons”) was a lay teacher at St. Brigid in Buffalo. According to media reports, in 2020, he was named in a lawsuit against the Diocese of Buffalo Mr. Lyons was accused of sexually abusing a minor from 1979 to 1981, when the victim was approximately 14 to 16 years old. The child met Mr. Lyons when he/she participated in youth activities and programs at St. Brigid Church.
